Tell us about one of your most memorable moments as a doula.

I was supporting a client who, right after her baby was born, looked up at me and said “I feel so empowered right now!” That was everything to me – knowing that I had done my job well.

What made you become a doula?

I have always felt drawn to new families to be empowered in their care. I saw the difference that having the additional support could make in helping a birthing person feel strong and confident. I wanted to be able to provide that feeling to everyone!
